77 Alchemy Archives Rental Service

Welcome to the 77 Alchemy Archives Rental Service — your access point to a curated world of rare, archival, and designer pieces available for short-term use. Whether you're styling an editorial shoot, attending a special event, or bringing a creative vision to life, our rental service offers exclusive access to our one-of-a-kind collection.

Rental Categories & Fees

  • Standard Vintage Pieces: 15% of the original retail price

  • Museum-Quality / Extremely Rare Pieces: 20% of the original retail price

  • Minimum rental fee: £35.00

All items are individually priced based on designer, rarity, and condition. Price details available upon request.

Rental Duration

  • Minimum: 4 days

  • Maximum: 10 days (extensions available upon request)

Discounts

  • 8-day rental: 15% off total rental cost

  • 10-day rental: 25% off total rental cost

Deposit

A refundable deposit is required for all rentals, ranging from 50% to 100% of the rental fee based on item value. This will be refunded upon safe return of the item in good condition.

Bookings & Payments

  • Booking Timeframe: Up to 15 days in advance

  • Payment: Full payment (rental fee + deposit) is required to confirm booking

  • Methods: Bank transfer 

Bookings are confirmed only after full payment is received.

Cancellation Policy

  • 14+ days before rental: Full refund minus 10% handling fee

  • 7–14 days: 50% refund

  • Less than 7 days: No refund

Cleaning Fee

  • Standard garments: 5% of rental price (typically £10–£30)

  • Museum-quality items: 8–10% of rental price

Service Fee

A one-time £8 service fee is applied to every rental transaction.

Shipping & Handling

  • UK Shipping: Royal Mail

  • International: DHL

  • Costs: All shipping (including returns) covered by renter

  • Processing Time:

    • UK: 5 working days

    • International: 10–15 working days

Condition & Care

All pieces are professionally cleaned and inspected before rental. Renters are expected to handle items with utmost care.

Please:

  • Do not clean or repair items

  • Avoid exposure to smoke, heat, and liquids

  • Store items safely when not in use

Damage beyond normal wear may incur additional charges.

Return Policy

  • Items must be returned on or before the due date

  • Late returns incur penalties:

    • 1 day late: 30% of item value

    • 2 days late: 40%

    • 3 days late: 50%

    • Additional days: +10% per day

  • Items must be returned in original condition

Responsibility

The renter is fully responsible for the item during the rental period. Loss, theft, or damage beyond repair will result in additional charges.
