    An exceedingly rare archival piece from Jean Paul Gaultier’s iconic Fall/Winter 1996 collection, this long kimono-style mesh robe features the house’s signature surrealist body illusion motif — a sculptural Venus figure rendered in vibrant orange and green tones, digitally printed across translucent mesh panels.

    Constructed in JPG's signature multi-panel technique, the robe is designed with exaggerated kimono sleeves and contrasting baroque-inspired imagery, making the entire silhouette appear as a living canvas. Front and back feature full-scale human figures in anatomical perspectives, creating an arresting 360-degree wearable artwork.
